I purple pen words about living one's most delicious life. For me that means island living, rescuing baby goats, and (ghost)writing NYTimes Bestsellers. And I'm all about JOY.

I’m feeling a bit reflective today, so wanted to share something that came to me as I sipped a cup of coffee and took in the new-dawn sky after a light rain. I believe that writing—and life—aren’t meant to be rushed, hacked, or optimized to death. Instead, each one is meant to be felt. Like silk sliding over smooth, freshly washed skin. Luxurious. Cool. And quick to heat—to match your outward temp. I believe I model—and when I’m in that mode, teach—that creativity is not discipline . . . it’s devotion. That showing up daily, even quietly, can rebuild a life—one sentence, one story, one breath at a time. I stand for gentle consistency, often widely unseen, over grind. There will be no dance, monkey, dance parody of me. I believe my life’s work is to soothingly remind people that it’s never too late to begin again And, that we don’t need to start over, we just need to start today. I blend the soul of storytelling with the practicality of creation—because art deserves to be both meaningful and sustainable. I believe art, creativity, storytelling is valuable and thus requires a healthy exchange. I do not believe one must starve, suffer to create. My focus is on designing ways to help others remember who they are, how to reclaim their rhythm and return to JOY through words. I realize today that I literally make art, business, and healing coexist. While I tend not to shout my JOYful message, that’s just not me—I strive to embody it for all eternity. Quietly, magnetically, JOYfully and deeply human. Writing is a path, my path home—to self, to peace, to purpose—and JOY is both the method and the result.
